This laboratory has all the necessary equipment for conducting various tests and experiments prescribed by the Board. The laboratory houses glassware and other apparatuses, chemicals and gas burners, sinks and taps, all spick and span. Students are encouraged to experiment and learn. Our lab can accommodate 25 students.

Biology Lab

The biology lab is equipped with all facilities for a batch of 25 students at a time. Live specimens as well as preserved specimens fascinate students and they are free to bring live specimens to be preserved by themselves. The charts and models exhibited in the lab add the suitable environment for joyful learning.

Physics Lab

The physics lab aids a student in practically establishing the relevance of the theory. It is equipped with sophisticated devices to help the students in improvising their approach towards the subject. It is designed to give practice in taking measurements and analysing data while doing the experiments. The lab is spacious and well-ventilated and ensures proper availability of light.

Computer Lab

The computer lab is connected to the school network. There are 30 desktops which are backed up with solar connection ensuring uninterrupted power supply. Students can also print their output. Various activities in the lab spur the inquisitiveness of the students and encourage them to be creative with computer programming.

Mathematics Lab

Learning by doing is the fundamental objective of the mathematics lab. The lab provides manipulative materials for achieving that goal. The cubes and cuboids, pyramids and cylinders, charts and models develop the attitude of enquiry among students. The lab has a collection of games, puzzles, teaching aids and other materials for making students feel comfortable in working with mathematical concepts and skills.

Atal Tinkering Lab

The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is a recent initiative from the central government to create scientific temper and cultivate the spirit of curiosity and innovation among young minds. Carmel’s ATL offers a workspace for students to give shape to their ideas through hands-on do-it-yourself mode. We share the policymakers’ vision to create neoteric innovators.
